Methodology
Cohort: A station/fuel enters from its first recorded price event; current active status is not projected backwards.
Price bounds: Values outside 50p to 300p per litre are excluded.
Carry forward: A station's last reported price is carried forward until it changes.
Area definition: Local movers use the alphabetic UK postcode area.
Station weighting: Each station contributes one equal-weight end-of-day price.
Classification limitation: Brand, postcode area, and motorway labels use the station's current classification because dated dimension history is not yet stored.
Missing data: Blank cells indicate unavailable values. Chart lines stop at missing dates or values.
Station counts: Station counts describe contributing stations; comparison counts describe matched stations used to calculate changes.
