From reported prices to a finished chart
Use the editor’s Chart, Data and Source notes views to check the output and the figures behind it before publishing.
- Three chart layouts
- Show a price trend, compare forecourt canopy brands within an area, or publish a current-price snapshot.
- Your publication’s branding
- Add a name, chart colour and logo. Choose a sans serif or serif font, adjust logo size and position, and use a white or dark logo background. Light chart colours are adjusted for legibility.
- Files for your publishing workflow
- Download a PNG image, SVG graphic or CSV file. A complete ZIP pack includes both chart formats, the data and methodology notes.
- A saved website embed
- Copy an embed link for your saved chart. It uses your saved settings and the latest published dataset; unsaved editor changes stay as drafts.
- Weekly editorial pack
- Automated weekly email delivery is not available yet. You can download a pack from the editor.
Check your area is supported
Studio currently offers a UK aggregate and six postcode areas. A postcode area is not the same as a city boundary.

Choose petrol (E10) or diesel (B7), with a 7-day or 30-day period. Availability depends on the published dataset and station coverage. Custom boundaries and other postcode areas are not currently part of the self-service editor.
